explores the gardens and larger landscape that slowly are being reclaimed

ultimately preserved. Wear comfortabl walking shoes. Tour proceeds rain or
shine.
Afterwards, there will be time to explore the gardens on your own.

George W. Curry, FASLA, Distinguished TEaching Professor SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry, department of Landscape Architecture. Mr. Curry was awarded the Design Intelligence 2007 Landscape Architecture Educator of the Year. with more than 30 years in teaching and practice with a focus on cultural landscapes and urban design, Mr. Curry is a pioneer in expanding the filed of cultural landscape preservation practice.
Christine Capella-Peters, Historic Sites Restoration Coordinator, New York State Office of Parks, REcreation, and Historic Preservation, is an innovator in cultural landscape preservation. She co-authored The Secretary on the Interior's Standards for Historic Properties with Guidelines for Cultural Landscapes which is the standard for cultural landscape preservation practice.
