Workshop Description
This workshop will focus on capturing the
essence of the landscape through direct painting outdoors.
Students will learn how to select a subject, develop a composition, and apply a
basic oil technique
to complete a painting in a short amount of time.
Jean will demonstrate paint application, color mixing and discuss the use of
atmospheric perspective.
You can expect individual guidance and a group critique.
A great introduction to plein air painting. Some
experience with oils is helpful.
